How to make business card/credit card holder tutorial

thank you for waiting~ it has been wild here for us lately. first day of school was.. semi-disaster i though would be able to post this tutorial on Saturday, but we had girls play day instead. anyway.. here you go .. Material: cotton fabric- two pieces of 5.5″x7.5″ fusible interfacing – one piece of 6″x4.25″ fusible batting – one piece of 5.5″x7.5″ biding- once piece of 1.5″wide cotton fabric. ( the length is around 24″ long) sewing machine thread scissors needle

design your cover. since i have been into hexagons, i though i’d play with it.

iron your cover and lining fabric on fusible batting. the patter for the card holder is 6.5″x4.5″( trim the corners; make them a bit round).

the inside pockets interfacing is 2.5″x4.5″ ( 2 pieces) double the pocket fabric size.

iron the interfacing to the pocket fabric.

remember the patten outline you drew earlier? trim the outline.

prepare a pair of snaps

stitch the snap on the center of the cover.

cut 2 pieces of .75″x2″ for the strip sew the right side together and turn the inside out after sewn.

sew the strip on to the edge of cover.

lay and pin the inside pockets the the body.

sew the biding

hand stitch the biding

attach other snap on the strip

sew a wood button to cover the stitches you make or use a yo-yo.

there you have a handmade business card/ credit card holder.
