Make GOLD NUGGETS with Rocks & Spray Paint!

My son wanted to have Pirate Party for his 4th Birthday. It was a last minute party, so I was in a rush to create the decorations. But, still got really creative with the details and made his party a totally enchanting event. There’s A LOT to share with you all, but I’m going to start with the GOLD NUGGETS that we made. These Gold Nuggets were simple to make and made a huge impact!

These Gold Nuggets were originally supposed to serve as “treasure” in a box with dollar store jewelry. But, due to the wind and a lack of appropriate weights, we used them to hold the Balloons! It was such a great idea, because they sparkled and shined across the tables and created an awesome visual when piled together. You can get creative and use these Gold Nuggets as centerpieces, treasure, balloon weights, goody bag treats….etc.

My children and I went on a walk and collected around 30 rocks to create our “Pirate Treasure.”
