10 Lessons Every Woman In Her 20’s Should Learn

Lesson, Woman, 20s, Learn

There are plenty of lessons to be learned in your 20s. A time of great transition, your 20s are marked by major milestones – college graduation, building exciting new relationships, and renting our own apartments. We’re finally making our mark on the world and learning what it truly means to be an adult. And while there are many lessons to learn, the lessons that help shape our outlook for the better are the most important.

I hope these little bits of advice inspire you to step into your power, take control of your life, and listen to your intuition.

1. Love Doesn’t Hurt

Love is kind. Love is truth. When you honor and respect yourself, you will not allow others to toy with your heart and affection. This doesn’t mean you won’t get hurt again. It simply means that when someone does hurt you, you will know what to do.

2. You Become What You Believe

Do you believe you are worthy of happiness, joy, success, and comfort? Or do you believe something else? You manifest the life you believe you deserve.

3. Always Listen To Your Gut

Your gut is the root of your intuition. It will guide you and keep you out of harm’s way. Listen closely and you will know which way to go.

4. When People Show You Who They Are…Believe Them

When someone has shown you who they truly are, believe them! Stop expecting for them to be anyone other than who they are. Believe them, and move on.

5. Negative Energy Attracts More Negative Energy

Birds of a feather flock together. If there are a lot of negative people in your life, don’t blame them. Look at the energy you may be creating to attract them.

6. The Truth Will Set You Free

If you are in any way being untrue to yourself, putting on a facade, or holding in a secret, you will never become who you are truly meant to be. Live your truth, live your life!

7. When You Know Better, You Do Better

You are not your past. You don’t have to be a prisoner to who you used to be or the things you used to do.

8. You’re Solely Responsible for Your Life

Don’t sit around waiting for someone to rescue, fix, or even help you. Only you have the responsibility of moving your life forward.

9. Don’t Be Afraid to Step Out of the Box

If you want something you’ve never had, you have to do something you’ve never done! There is no reward without risk.

10. You Have The Power

You have always had the power. You are the master of your life, and the only courage you’ll ever need is the courage to follow your dreams.
